About Us

Why This Site Exists

Block Blast Solver started because of one recurring problem: a board fills up with awkward pieces, none of the three currently available shapes fit anywhere sensible, and there’s no way to see if a good move still exists or if the game is genuinely over. Working that out by trial and error on a phone screen wastes time and lives. This tool exists to answer that one question quickly — does a good move exist, and if so, where.

What the Tool Does, Specifically

You give the solver your board in one of two ways: upload a screenshot, or recreate it manually by clicking cells on an 8×8 grid. You then draw your three current pieces on separate grids. The solver checks possible placements of each piece against the board, scores each option on line clears and leftover space, and returns a three-step suggestion showing where each piece could go and in what order.

It does not read your game automatically, connect to any app, or place pieces for you. It’s a separate tool you feed information into and get a suggestion back from — nothing more, nothing automated beyond the calculation itself. As with any solver based on the information it’s given, results depend on how accurately the board and pieces are entered.

Who Operates This Site

Block Blast Solver is built and maintained independently, not by a large team or a company. It grew out of building small niche tools and improving them based on direct user feedback sent to linkerbuddy@gmail.com, If a solver result doesn’t make sense, or a guide has an error, that inbox is monitored and used to make corrections.

Where the Guides Come From

The strategy guides on this site (piece shape rules, scoring breakdowns, high score benchmarks) are based on actually playing the game and checking specific claims against it, rather than repackaging generic puzzle-game advice that applies to every block game equally. Where a rule is specific to Block Blast’s no-rotation system, the guide says so explicitly.

What This Site Is Not

This is an independent, unofficial tool built for puzzle players. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the official Block Blast game or its developers in any way. All trademarks and game names belong to their respective owners. This site is not intended to replace or interfere with the actual game — it’s a companion tool for players who want help on a specific board, not a substitute for playing it.
