How to Use Block Blast Solver?
Fill, Draw & Solve
A complete guide to every step, from starting your board to reading the solution output.
What Is Block Blast Solver and Why Do Players Use It?
Some puzzle games starts easy and quietly gets brutal, Block Blast is one of them. Our Block Blast Solver becomes very helpful when the shapes get tighter, the board fills up faster, and before long you are stuck staring at a grid with no clean move left. It shows you what placement actually clears lines and what makes things worse.
The Solver works in a straightforward way: describe your current board, tell it which figures you are holding, and it calculates the best placement for each one. Once you have done it, the whole process takes under a minute.
Choose How to Enter Your Board?
At the very first step, pick your input method. Two options avaialable at the top of the page: Screenshot and Fill Manually.
Screenshot : Faster Route
Take a neat and clean screenshot of your current game, upload the quality image, and the tool reads the board from it directly. PNG, JPG, GIF, and WEBP are all accepted. The upload area also supports drag and drop or a standard click to browse workflow.
Fill Manually
The Fill Manually tab gives you a blank interactive grid. You click each cell to mark it as occupied. Both methods lead to the same result ; a filled board ready for the next step.

How to Fill the Board?
In this step, you tell the solver what your current game board looks like. Every cell you click turns blue, representing a filled or occupied square. The grid is 8×8, matching the standard Block Blast layout.
You are taking a snapshot of your board in its current state : all the blocks already placed, the gaps, the partial rows, everything. Accuracy matters here the most. A board that doesn’t match your actual game will give you placements that don’t work in practice.

How to Draw Your Figures?
Once the board is filled in, draw the three figures you are currently holding in the game. These are the pieces waiting to be placed and to find the best moves, the solver needs their exact shapes.
Each figure gets its own 5×5 grid. You click cells to outline the shape, and filled cells turn orange to distinguish them from the blue board cells.

The three grids are labeled Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3, matching the order shown at the bottom of your game screen.
Hit Solve Puzzle
Once the board and figures are set, hit Solve Puzzle button. The solver gives output comprise of a three step solution : one placement per figure : shown as three side by side board previews.
Each preview shows both the blue board cells and the orange figure placement together, so you can see exactly where each piece lands in context. Below each board you get placement coordinates and a Completed lines count showing how many rows or columns that placement clears.
Follow the Steps in Order
Place Figure 1, then Figure 2, then Figure 3, in the sequence the solver shows. The step by step format makes it easy to follow without losing track in a busy game.

Things to Know
The solver works best when your input matches the game exactly. Small errors in the board or figure shapes can shift the suggested placements. If the solution looks off, re-check the figures first — those are the most common source of input mistakes.
Mobile Works Fine
The layout adjusts cleanly on phones. Buttons scale equally and the grids remain tappable, so you can use the solver without switching to a desktop.
📱 What Mobile Preview Looks Like?
Here’s exactly how the solver appears on a phone screen — the upload area, Fill Manually button, and action buttons all stack cleanly in a single column.

It Doesn’t Connect to Your Game
This is a standalone input-and-solve interface. You enter the data, it returns the moves, and you apply them yourself. Nothing is sent to or modified in the game directly.
